Skin of Honey
After knowing her for many years, I finally sat down with her to talk about all the different hats she has worn in her career; and we had a lively conversation.
The theatre is collaborating this June with the Hollywood Fringe festival–LA’s largest celebration of the performing arts.
Odalys Nanin
Nanin is setting the stage for theatrical excellence, bringing (back by popular demand) on Macha Theatre’s stage the Landmark Lesbian play, Skin of Honey, which opens June 11, 2016 as part of the Fringe One City One Pride.
There’s a lot to like of Warcraft, visually it’s fantastic! For gamers and fanboys, they will enjoy that. And it holds up fine as a stand-alone movie for those who aren’t familiar with the game.
Spent a great time coloring with these kids at the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles
The storyline is interesting even thought the dialogue at times seemed cheesy. And I can see a sequel in the near future.
We got to sit in on a press conference with some of the actors and the director, who talked about the whole process of making the film. And you can listen to it here.
We also took part in a friendly soccer match in celebration of the release of Warcraft and LA Copa America Centenario. The event took place at the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles, where the kids colored and recreated some of the characters of the film; and they built their own interpretation of a castle too.
Warcraft Cast
The stars of the film are: Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Ben Schnetzer, Ruth Negga, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Clancy Brown, Daniel Wu and directed by Duncan Jones.
If you liked the first Conjuring, you are going to love this one; and it should be seen on the large screen with a movie audience.
It is more than a good scare, it is a love story, it shows the affection and love that Lorraine and Ed Warren had for each other.
Director James Wan, writers David Leslie, Chad Hayes and Carey W. Hayes
I think The Conjuring 2 does its job and more. I personally jumped at least three times that I can remember.
In this film, the Warren’s, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits. And it’s one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations.
We got to talk to the actors (Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Frances O’Connor, and Madison Wolfe), and filmmakers (writers Carey Hayes, Chad Hayes, David Leslie Johnson, director James Wan, and producer Peter Safran) about the making of this new film. And now you can listen on the conversations.

Luis Guzmán, actor and youth advocate, has a new film opening on June 10, Puerto Ricans in Paris. A few of us got to talk to him about the film and why he wanted to do this project. We also talked about his thoughts on Latinos and Hollywood. The conversation was fantastic and we didn’t want to stop. It took place at the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles, which was a perfect location for doing this with Luis.
Now you can listen in on the conversation with the hiccups and all. And we hope you’ll enjoy it.

We caught up with stand-up comedian and actor George Lopez, we had a conversation about his past shows and what he hopes people will get from his new show, Lopez. We had some laughs and talked about bringing back the siesta. We even touched on the diversity we’ve been seeing on television in front and behind the camera.
Now, we get to congratulate George on his second season of Lopez, which was announced by TV Land a few days ago.
Lopez
One of the things I noticed about Lopez the show is, that even though it is about a stand-up comedian’s life, he’s not always on. Cause most comedians are usually low key, shy or quiet people.
George Lopez
Lopez is currently in its first season on TV Land, airing Wednesdays at 10P and full episodes can be viewed on the TV Land App. The finale airs on Wednesday, June 22.
