Story: Once upon at a time, Jaycen “2 J’s” Jennings (Snoop Dogg) was a football superstar, but his inflated ego and poor sportsmanship got him tossed off the field. He’s been pissed ever since.  

When he’s ordered to perform community service in his hometown of Long Beach, Jaycen signs on to coach a fledging pee wee football team, for selfish reasons. He’s more focused on regaining the spotlight and reuniting with his old girlfriend Cherise (Tika Sumpter), but he knows he has to get the team in shape and keep his homeboy and self-appointed assistant coach Kareem (Mike Epps) on point.

The Underdoggs is directed by Charles Stone III, with a screenplay written by Isaac Schamis and Danny Segal, and stars Andrew Schulz, Kal Penn, Kandi Burruss, and George Lopez.

We really enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, it was nostalgic and a little melancholic for us. Since it’s Mr. Ford’s last time as Indiana Jones. On the bright side, I could see the character of Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), taken the mantel in any future film based on the adventure theme. It was nice to see familiar faces like, Karen Allen and John Rhys-Davies.

Directed by James Mangold. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, has once again composed the score.
