There is so little original programming anywhere in sight, it was a pleasure to see ABC let loose of a new episode of Happy Endings, the surprisingly funny “young smart urban buddies” series that showed up very late last season. And even better, Gina Rodriguez, nominated for an Imagen award last year for her supporting-actor work in the theatrical release Go For It!, showed up in that episode, doing an absolutely hilarious turn as a new, grifter-y secretary who can not be trusted. You can catch the episode on Hulu and ABC…and given what little else is out there, it’s golden. (As for Go For It! DVD release date is September 27, 2011, and Netflix too)
