Monica Raymund’s arc on Blue Blood started last week. She plays a hotshot young cop who went to the academy with one of Tom Selleck’s far-too-handsome offspring. Blue Bloods has found its feet recently; it’s one of those “New York” shows, like Law & Order and The Equalizer, that looks and feels like it’s shot in NYC, using lots of local theater-based actors and sporting a wry and prickly NY attitude.
