Knock Knock

The second film from director Eli Roth in less than a month, The Green Inferno was released on September 25, the film is written by Eli and his writing partners, Nicolás López and Guillermo Amoedo.

No matter how you feel about this film, it does show that even “smart” people can make decisions with some serious consequences.Audio-Button-200

Reversion

I liked this film it has a Hitchcock feel to it. The story is about the daughter of a billionaire tech mogul and creator of the Oubli, an interesting little gadget that lets you relieve good memories. Now she’s questioning her own memories about her mother’s death after being kidnapped by a stranger.

I got a chance to talk to the director, Jose Nestor Marquez about the idea and the making of the film.

The stars of the film are; Aja Naomi King, Colm Feore, Jeanette Samano, David Clennon, Gary Dourdan, Lela Rochon, and Amanda Plummer. — A.O.

Pantelion Films brings an action-packed comedy to the big screen with Ladrones. Mexican superstars Fernando Colunga and Eduardo Yáñez must work to reclaim land stolen from a hard working community by a ruthless family of crooks led by a beautiful but lethal diva (Jessica Lindsey).

The comedy has a modern day “Robin Hood(s)” feel. The rest of the cast is made up of the funny Vadhir Derbez, Miguel Varoni, and Óscar Torre. Talking to Colunga and Yáñez, they said “they wanted to make a film for the whole family to enjoy.” We even got a few words from Jessica, Vadhir and Óscar on the qualities they liked about their character. Just click on the audio box. — A.O.

Pan

A Peter Pan we’ve not seen before…if you remember it’s a fantasy; it’s a fun ride to watch.

It could be a bit dark for the young ones but for pre-teens and teens it’s cute, per my teen niece who screened it with me.

I found the different color burst for the gun shot killings creative. It took away from the reality of the deaths.

Directed by Joe Wright and starring the young Levi Miller, Rooney Mara, Hugh Jackman, Garret Hedlund, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Kathy Burke, Amanda Seyfried and Cara Delevingne. —A.O.
