I loved this film! And now you’ll be able to own your own copy and watch it as many times as you want.

Pixar and Disney have done it again with this animation—great for the family enjoyment.

I enjoyed The Good Dinosaur, I found Arlo and Spot to be very cute and I even liked the Western feel to the film. The look of the scenery (trees, water) are very real, very impressive.

We had a fun talk with director Peter Sohn about how he felt now that the film has been in the theaters, and now getting its blu-ray release. We caught up with Pixar artist, Alonso Martinez, who told us about his work on the film. Also talked to two of the voice actors, Raymond Ochoa (Arlo) and AJ Buckley (Nash), plus the music creators, Mychael Danna and Jeff Danna. We heard about what we’ll be getting on the Blu-ray and we were giving a musical treat at the press junket. Now, listen in on the music and conversations by clicking on the audio boxes.

busco novio para mi mujer 2016Busco Novio Para Mi Mujer (Seeking Boyfriend for My Wife) has some funny stuff going for it. Sandra Echeverría (Dana) is wonderful as the nagging and nitpicking wife to Arath de la Torre’s (Paco) character. Jesús Ochoa who plays “El Taiger,” an unlikely well-known neighborhood lothario that is hired by Paco (de la Torre) to whisk his wife (Echeverría) off her feet and out of the marriage.

Arath de la Torre described the “Taiger” character as a metaphor, like an angel who comes to help their relationship. Both actors do theater but love doing films much more, because film lives on forever.

Echeverría, who is a producer on film, joked that Arath is Mexico’s Jim Carrey. Since he’s very happy making films in Mexico and not in a hurry to make a change or a move into the U.S. film world.

The film is directed by Enrique Begne and also stars Mónica Huarte, Mauricio Isaac, Jorge Zárate, and Alejandro Cuétara.

Risen, at first thought, it is a faith-based film; then you realize it’s really a detective story just set in the time of Christ. So, if you are familiar with the biblical stories you’ll probably enjoy it and I think even if you aren’t familiar, it’s a good story. Joseph Fiennes is Clavius, a character comprised of stories told about Roman soldiers of that time.

Risen, is the epic biblical story of the resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman military tribune, and his aide, Lucius (Tom Felton), are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Yeshua’s (Jesus) body in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.

Yeshua (Jesus) who is played by Cliff Curtis is perfectly cast in this role. There was some really good casting in this film and we spoke to the producers about it. Risen is directed by Kevin Reynolds, who co-wrote the screenplay with Paul Aiello.
