The 13th annual NALIP 2012 Conference Opens

Diverse Voices, Universal Content is NALIP’s (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) theme this year. The event is three days (April 13 -15) at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, CA.

They are packing a lot in those three days, starting with keynote speaker, Director Robert Rodriguez. A screening of the Sundance darling, Filly Brown which stars Gina Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos, Jenni Rivera and Lou Diamond Phillips. On Saturday evening, they will honor the legendary, Rita Moreno with a Lifetime Achievement Award. And Actor and arts advocate, Jerry Velasco, will accept a Lifetime Achievement for Advocacy Award.
