Our other crew, checked out The Super Mario Bros. movie. Check out what JimmityCritic (11yrs), had to say below.

It made me cry cuz it was that good and I wish that the Mario games could actually be the way the movie is made because there was a lot more free roaming and it would be a lot more fun. The storyline is easier to follow in the movie, then in the video games

I feel that some of the villains for example, King boo was under used.

I feel Bowser could have used his power star at the beginning of his fight with Mario but overall, he had a good storyline and his motives were clear from the start.

This could be a good family movie especially when trying to find a movie to watch during family movie night because it has a lot of elements of comedy getting through struggles and a wonderful good vs evil storyline.

Based on the world of Nintendo’s Mario games, the film invites audiences into a vibrant, thrilling new universe.

Synopsis: While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Chris PrattJurassic World and The LEGO Movie franchises) and brother Luigi (Charlie DayIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi.

Showcasing an all-star lineup who voice the iconic pop culture characters, The Super Mario Bros. stars Anya Taylor-Joy (Last Night in Soho, The Queen’s Gambit), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Seth Rogen (Neighbors, An American Pickle), Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda franchise) and Fred Armisen (Wednesday, Portlandia).

Boasting an A CinemaScore® and 96% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes, the Nintendo and Illumination-produced pop-culture spectacular of the year comes home in a next-level experience, unlocking over 30-minutes of bonus content that is sure to delight all Super Mario Bros. fans. Available on June 13.
