Saban’s Power Rangers! It’s Morphin Time!
The Power Rangers press conference was fun and full of some good stories from the young cast that was present, Ludi Lin, Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler and the more seasoned talent like Elizabeth Banks, Bill Hader, director Dean Israelite, and writer John Gatins.
I enjoyed the film it brought back many wonderful memories of watching the television series with my young son and putting his Power Ranger action figures away at bedtime.
There wasn’t a lot of morphin in this film but once it happened; it was very cool and exciting to watch. Now check out a few short video snippets of the day. Power Rangers in theaters on March 24. — A.O.

Michael Peña Talks to Us About Chips

Chips, two words, crude and hilarious! I remember the original television show and this is not it, but that’s ok. I have to admit, I laughed much more than I expected to.
The plot: Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten-up former pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job-inside the CHP.
I always enjoy Michael Peña’s work and Dax Shepard is not a bad director and it looks like it was a fun shoot, “It was a 45 day party.”
Michael Peña
We got to chat with Michael. He got to do a few of his stunts after learning to ride the bike. He also gave us an update to the next Ant Man movie. Click the audio and enjoy our funny back and forth.
Starring Dax Shepard (writer), Kristen bell, Jessica McNamee, Ryan Hansen, Rosa Salazar, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Adam Brody.
Chips in theaters March 24. It’s not for little kids, definitely adult humor.
Lowriders in theaters May 12
Here’s an early clip from Lowriders, starring Demián Bichir, Theo Rossi, Eva Longoria, Melissa Benoist, Gabriel Chavarria, Tony Revolori, and David Fernandez Jr.

My first interview with Jordana Brewster was fun. We talked about her character Maureen Cahill dealing with character Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) who is a crazy good cop. And what she favors, film or television? Also you can listen to our interviews with Damon Wayans, where Crawford did most of the talking, and Johnathan Fernandez at the 2017 Winter TCA.
