Eugenio Derbez’ How To Be A Latin Lover
Eugenio Derbez is back with a new comedy in which he wares two hats, producer and star. They are some funny stuff in this film—Derbez is Derbez and it’s all about family.

Some great talent, like the young Raphael Alejandro, who is a scene-stealer, joins him, along with icon Raquel Welch.
I enjoyed talking to the young actor, Alejandro who is quite a charmer and he told us, “I am the junior Latin lover, come see my movie.”
Rob Lowe
While we were talking about actors creating their own projects for online and cable, Rob Lowe told us “everybody does everything today and that’s really cool.”

Welch was a delight to listen to and a funny lady also. When asked about her role in the film, she said, she took it cause no one would believe that she would. Once she did her research on Eugenio Derbez and met him, she was on board.
Welch also told us about a comedy series (Date My Dad) she just worked on up in Vancouver, Canada. Where she gets to play a sexy Latina grandmother named, Rosa. Listen in to hear what she says when she’s not on the set.

The plot follows; Maximo (Derbez) who has a dream to be rich without ever having to work a day in his life. Having made a career of seducing rich older women, he marries a wealthy woman more than twice his age. 25 years later, spoiled and bored from waking up next to his now 80-year-old wife—he gets the surprise of his life when she ends up dumping him for a younger car salesman. Forced out of his mansion and desperate for a place to stay, he must move in with his estranged sister, Sara, (Salma Hayek) and her nerdy but adorable son, Hugo (Raphael Alejandro) in their small apartment. Anxious to return to the lap of luxury, Maximo uses his nephew’s crush on a classmate to get to his new target—her grandmother, Celeste, a widowed billionaire.
You know with Eugenio involved, it’s going to be pretty funny. It also stars, Kristen Bell and directed by Ken Marino, and it hits theaters on April 28. — A.O.
