Ice Cube and Barbershop: The Next Cut Are Back!

Barbershop Next Cut TeaserIt’s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin’s Barbershop. Calvin (Ice Cube) and his longtime crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and his crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighborhood.

Barbershop: The Next Cut also stars Regina Hall, Oscar winner Common, Sean Patrick Thomas, Eve, Anthony Anderson, Jazsmin Lewis, JB Smoove, and recording artist Nicki Minaj. And directed by Malcom D. Lee (The Best Man films, Scary Movie 5).

Barbershop: The Next Cut opens nationwide on April 15, 2016.

13_Hours_poster13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Intense! Very raw! Gripping to watch. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I was glad to see that it wasn’t overtly political and that it was about the private soldiers involved.

I didn’t know what to expect and I found a good film to watch, full of action and some good acting. It even has some humor. I think it’s Michael Bay’s best film to date.

It stars John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber, and James Badge Dale.

Ride Along 2Ride Along 2

For the fans of the first Ride Along, here’s the sequel to the blockbuster action-comedy. It’s full of Kevin Hart’s antics and Ice Cube’s cool, and some crazy laughs. And we have a couple of our favorites, Benjamin Bratt, playing the bad guy, and Carlos Gómez as the police captain. Tim Story directs this sequel.

Starring Olivia Munn, Tika Sumpter, Ken Jeong, Bruce McGill, Sherri Shepherd, Arturo del Puerto, and Nadine Velazquez.

Watch the trailers below, the top one is with Carlos Gómez telling us in Spanish about some of the characters.
