A Thriller, a Comedy and a Drama in Theaters Friday

The CaptiveTop FiveInherent_Vice_1We say this all the time, another weekend of new releases and it’s hard to choose the best, but we thought these were interesting to check out.

We are huge fans of Rosario Dawson and were happy to see she’s in two films releasing Friday—one is the thriller The Captive and the other is the comedy Top Five with Chris Rock. Then there’s the drama Inherent Vice. This is one of those films you’ll have to watch a few more times, because there’s so much to take in, maybe because it’s an adaptation of a Thomas Pynchon novel. And we want to give a shout-out to our friend, Yvette Yates (Luz) whose part of it.

The Captive (Thriller)
Directed by Atom Egoyan and starring Rosario Dawson, Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman, Kevin Durand, Bruce Greenwood, and Mireille Enos.
