Tarzan and The Purge 3 Opens!

Tarzan, The Legend of Tarzan, Margot Robbie, David Yates, Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, John Hurt, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2The Legend of Tarzan
I’ve always been a fan of Tarzan movies and now we have a new one, Warner Bros’ new version of The Legend of Tarzan.

The things that this Tarzan has going for it is, Margot Robbie as Jane. She’s a Jane to champion. And the film is virtually beautiful; it makes you want to visit the Congo.

The actual storyline is weak; there are a few wholes here and there. But for me, the action made up for it.

The film, directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2), stars Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, John Hurt, Djimon Hounsou, and Jim Broadbent.

The Purge franchise is back, with “Election Year,” and this follow up is wilder than previous ones. And even though it wasn’t planned, it’s interesting since we are in a crazy election year. Plus this one has more humor than I expected…but just as scary.

It’s been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for president and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent.

Other cast members include JJ Soria, Mykelti Williamson, Edwin Hodge, Betty Gabriel, Liza Colón-Zayas, and directed by James DeMonaco.
