In Theaters on Friday

This Friday 13, we have a mixture of films opening up and some of them are quite interesting and good.

Happy Death Day
I enjoyed this film very much, it was scary and fun and the lead actress, Jessica Rothe (La La Land) was really good showing her emotions.

Blumhouse (Split, Get Out, Whiplash) produces an original and inventive rewinding thriller in Happy Death Day, in which a college student (Rothe) relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity. Directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) and written by Scott Lobdell and also starring Israel Broussard, and Ruby Modine.

Marshall
Is about a young Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, as he battles through one of his career-defining cases; well acted by Chadwick Boseman as Marshall. Also starring Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Sterling K. Brown, Keesha Sharp, James Cromwell, Roger Guenveur Smith, and directed by Reginald Hudlin.

Professor Marston and the Wonder Women
The story of psychologist William Moulton Marston, the polyamorous relationship between his wife and his mistress, the creation of his beloved comic book character Wonder Woman, and the controversy the comic generated.

It’s written and directed by Angela Robinson and stars Luke Evans, Rebecca Hall, Bella Heathcote, and Connie Britton.
